What are the factors that made you begin your singing career, and who supported you?
My true love for singing, my talent, and of course my neverending ambitions were the real reasons that encouraged me to start taking my singing career attentively. My mother was my main supporter and my genuine mirror. She was always there, believing in me and sustaining me. Of course we can’t overlook the effort of my production company in everything pertaining to my career, and above all GOD.

In your opinion, what are the reasons behind the success of any rising singer?
Talent, self confidence, and of course - intelligence.

How do you compete with the other singers?
The same way all singers compete. Basically, everyone is doing his/her best to win the audiences.

Last year you won several awards and prizes, what do these signify to you?
They indicate that I’m on the right track and doing precisely what I’ve always dreamt about.

Is it correct that a true singer should depend mainly on his/her talent?
Yes, of course, however anyone depending entirely on his\ her talent will have a short-lived singing career.

Why don’t you have any Moroccan songs in your album? Are you planning to include Moroccan songs in your upcoming album?
The Moroccan song lives deep within me, and yes definitely I will include it next time.

We’ve witnessed you capably performing in your video clips, are you planning to perhaps act in the future?
Well the response regarding the acting in my video clips was really positive, but I find myself keen on singing.

Who does Jannat listen to, from the older and younger generations?
Abdel Halim Hafez and Om Kolthoum and from the younger generation I only listen to the good tunes.

Tell us about your persona - what are the strong and weak points in your personality?
I can’t talk about myself; people who know me can do this better than me. But what I love about myself is the fact that I’m utterly forgiving - except for those who deceive me. For me, you either gain my trust or lose it forever.

Do you intend to perform a duet with any singer?
Perhaps I will - but not now.
