Torralbenc Spain

Torralbenc is set in a charming, traditional Menorcan finca surrounded by rolling farmland and vineyards, yet close to the island’s sandy beaches with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. Four kilometres from Cala’n Porter in the south-west of Menorca. 9 kms from Mahon Airport.

The pretty whitewashed farm buildings at Torralbenc have been renovated to an exacting standard to create 22 rooms and cottages. Decorated in soft and soothing creams and whites, each room is a relaxing haven, some with private terraces, balconies or sea views. For your own private plunge pool, opt for the Pool Cottage.  Take part in cookery classes and rustle up traditional Menorcan cuisine or spend the day at the nearby beach. Simply stay put, and sip a cool, crisp rosé wine by the pool or enjoy a health-enhancing yoga session. For a selection  of restaurants, bars and boutiques head to Cala’n Porter with its pretty bay. In the evening, discover the culinary delights of Menorcan cuisine in the Torralbenc restaurant.

Torralbenc is a traditional Menorcan farm that has been renovated into a luxury hotel, respecting the rich heritage and archaeology of the zone. The archaeological remains dating from the middle ages that are located close to Torralbenc underscore the importance of this location as a vantage point overseeing the southern coast of Menorca. Torralbenc is a collection of white-washed farm buildings dating from the 19th and early 20th century that were used in the past for farming tasks and that have been carefully restored to recover the essence of the arquitecture and the natural environment. Torralbenc is located close to Alaior in Menorca, on a privileged small hill surrounded by vineyards and with commanding views of the Mediterranean. It sits between Mahón and Ciudadela, close to some of the most extensive sandy beaches on the island.
