Naladhu Maldives

The apotheosis of castaway living, Naladhu Maldives is an intimate resort with just 19 cabana-style houses each with an infinity swimming pool and House Master service, the island equivalent of a butler. Set on the island of Veligandu Huraa, with as much or as little privacy as you wish, great cuisine and a wide selection of activities makes this a very special retreat. Naladhu means ‘beautiful island’, an understatement for the turquoise lagoon, shining sand and swaying coconut palms. The level of personal attention is outstanding and the accommodation stunning, with a private garden and a delightful open-air bathroom with a bathtub facing the ocean. Start your day with yoga or a snorkel around the lagoon. Then return to enjoy an Ayurvedic massage or a tasting course with the island’s chefs. Sail a traditional dhoni to watch a school of dolphins and dine on
freshly caught seafood before gathering under the coconuts for story-telling by the island chief.
