Marriott International reaffirms its commitment and interest in Egypt

Marriott International’s President and CEO, Arne Sorenson has recently reaffirmed the company’s interest in Egypt as a major travel and tourism destination. The commitment was made during the US Chamber of Commerce round table discussion that took place in New York to mark the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi. Since the slowdown in travel trends to Egypt after January 2011, Marriott International has never stopped supporting its properties in Egypt through its worldwide resources. This is backed by the hospitality company’s strong belief in the Egyptian market and its competitive edge over other major touristic and investment destinations. Today, Marriott International operates six properties in Egypt, under the JW Marriott Hotels, Marriott Hotels and Renaissance Hotels brands, totaling 3047 hotel rooms and approximately 5000 staff members: JW Marriott Hotel Cairo, Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel, Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden Beach Resort, Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino, Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort and Sharm El Sheikh Marriott Resort. Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Ramses Hilton


Over 300 guests gathered at the Ramses Hilton lobby to celebrate Christmas Festivities. Haitham Nassar, the Hotel General Manager started the event by a welcoming speech followed by a Christmas tree lighting ceremony among the colorful Christmas decoration and an enjoyable performance by Misr Language Schools American division Christmas Choir. At the end of the event Santa Clause distributed his goodies to the children and memorable pictures were taken.

A Passion for Fashion Event for the Charms JW Ladies Society!

Splash launches “Studio Collection” as part of the Fall Winter 14 fashion show

Twenty one is an age symbolic of change, coming of age, transitions and the beginning of a new chapter. Summing all this and more Splash, the high street maven who is currently celebrating 21 years In Love with Fashioní showcased its Fall Winter 14 collection to a 3000 strong audience of styleconscious aficionados from across the Region. Taking a plunge into the future and opening a new chapter Splash unveiled a special line titled Studio Collection that will be exclusive to the bi-annual splash fashion shows. The Fall Winter line-up was showcased in a 20 minute runway extravaganza on 45 international models while Madinat Arena, Madinat Jumeirah was transformed into a contemporary timeless hall that would take on color and projections. Shukran Loyalty Card Expands Operations to Egypt

Landmark Groups Loyalty Scheme is Now Available at Outlets across Cairo and Alexandria

The Landmark Group has announced the launch of Shukran, the largest retail loyalty programme in the GCC and Jordan, in Egypt. Rolled out in the GCC and Jordan in 2010, the Shukran loyalty programme currently boasts more than 6.5 million members.

Shukran loyalty cards are now available at Orient International Tradingís 19 retail outlets across Cairo and Alexandria. The card offers a host of privileges to members, including an attractive reward system and an enriching customer service experience.
